Paramore Break Records In 'Ain't It Fun' Video
. Some of the records Paramore break throughout the under four-minute clip include "Fastest Time to Smash 30 Clock with Guitars," "Most Feathers Caught in 30 Seconds," "Fastest Time to Run Backwards Holding Stuffed Animals While Blindfolded for 30 Feet" and "Longest Time Spinning Record on Finger," a record York now proudly holds with 32.81 seconds. While the video is a happy-go-lucky celebration of individuality, Williams said the song itself was a sarcastic jab at her unwillingness to grow up. Before heading into the studio to record their latest album, Williams set out for Los Angeles, but in an interview with Radio.com admitted that she felt completely out of her element in the City of Angels. "I was on my own for the first time ever and it weirded me out," " she said. "I felt like I was going kicking and screaming on my own. But it's funny, because I needed that. I needed a change of perspective to know I could do a lot of things on my own." Williams wrote the song after realizing all her complaining was for no good reason at all. "Here I am, sitting here whining about my life that's not really all that bad," she explained. "My life is actually awesome and just because I'm a little uncomfortable, like why am I making such a big deal out of this and not making more of this opportunity?" She added, "It's a really fun song to record, but it was sort of me telling myself off." Read more and watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
