Joe Bonamassa Featured In The Studio (A Top Story)
. On a Guinness Book record-setting pace since his 2000 debut New Day Yesterday at the tender age of only twenty, Joe Bonamassa has recorded and released no less than ten solo studio albums, two collaborations with singer Beth Hart, plus the three studio albums with Black Country Communion. Bonamassa has toured tirelessly in North America and Europe, resulting in six live albums and an equal number of DVDs, including 2013′s An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House and the massive Tour de Force: Live in London four-DVD set. These live filmed concerts, in particular 2009′s Live from Royal Albert Hall, placed Joe B on stage with Eric Clapton and repeatedly on PBS television stations and into the mainstream. Regarding his many blues and rock heroes, Joe Bonamassa tells InTheStudio host Redbeard: "I started playing guitar when I was four�Then I heard the blues through Eric Clapton and ZZ Top, then a lot of the English guys such as Free with Paul Rodgers and Led Zeppelin doing blues. And that sparked my interest in (Americans) Robert Johnson, Guitar Slim, Muddy Waters, Freddie King was another one, too. By the age of nine I was the little white kid who would show up at all of these blues festivals with a guitar!"
