Weezer Reveal New Album Details
. In a YouTube clip released this week (July 8), the band lets the world know that on Sept. 30, 2014, they'll be hearing new music from the band. The video is titled "Return To Ithaca" and gritty guitar and striking piano is heard in the background as well as snippets of some of the music off the record. In an interview with EW.com, the band offered a telling description of the new album. "If you took the Pinkerton band and then play all the other records - that's what we sound like now," drummer Patrick "Frisbee Wizard" Wilson said. "Bombastic, loose, kind of booming. This record sounds like it's going to have the tight structure of Blue Album with a little bit more abandon like Pinkerton." More including the video here.
