The Believer will air on SEC Network on Aug. 27 and will detail Spurrier's career, which includes his time as the University of Florida's quarterback and winning a Heisman trophy as well as his nine seasons with the NFL's San Francisco 49ers and setting records for wins at Florida and South Carolina, according to Rolling Stone Country. "They spent a lot of time with my family, wife, kids, grandkids and so forth, and a lot of former players.
