Chris Brown Assault Case Prosecutor Wants Trial Moved Up

(Radio.com) Chris Brown may have just made it out of jail, but a prosecutor might be trying to make him face more charges sooner rather than later. BET reports that the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia has filed a request to move Brown's Washington, D.C. trial to an earlier date - by the end of this month, in fact.

The trial stems from an incident last year in which Brown allegedly attacked a person who photobombed a picture outside a hotel in the city last year. His bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, was involved as well, and was found guilty of assault.

The singer's lawyer, Mark Geragos, has maintained that, despite Brown admitting to the incident as a violation of his parole, causing more jail time, it doesn't mean he's actually guilty.

However, the prosecution doesn't buy that and wants the trial date moved up to as soon as June 25. more on this story
