(Radio.com) Mark you calendar, Woodstock is gearing up to spread its peace and love vibes once again in 2019. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the festival's promoter, Michael Lang revealed that he and the rest of the organizers behind the 1969 fest will not celebrate this year's 45th anniversary, but are looking to celebrate its 50th anniversary four years from now with a special concert.

There are obviously no details when it comes to the lineup, but Lang says that he is "exploring various locations." The original took place in Bethel, NY.

Lang previously promoted two official versions of the festival, one in 1994, which was a muddy celebration of the show's 25th anniversary with performances from Nine Inch Nails and Red Hot Chili Peppers; and another in 1999, which featured acts like Limp Bizkit and Beastie Boys. Unfortunately, this one was much less peaceful, inciting riots, arson and violence. more on this story
