The Angels formed in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1974 and later relocated to Sydney. The group have been named as an influence on Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and others. Wednesday's show was the seventh of nine dates that make up Guns N' Roses second residency, "No Trickery! An Evening Of Destruction", at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
