Singled Out: Rehab's Demun Jones
. Tannerite: So I was in the studio with Phivestarr with Jared and DJKO and Jared says "Hey man have you ever heard of Tannerite?" He proceeded to pull up videos on YouTube and I realized I had heard of some Jones County boys I know using the stuff to play around. TANNERITE is NO JOKE!! It's a high powered explosive that can only be detonated with a high caliber rifle. We all know who has those... REDNECKS!!! So it was right up my alley. We just went into it. It started about deer hunting out of season and it organically turned into a hunting saga featuring SASQUATCH!!! I'll leave it at that so I don't ruin the video. Lakehouse: One thing everyone from middle Georgia experiences growing up is Lake Sinclair. It's one county over from Jones County in Putnam County so I had plenty of memories to pull from. Danny Boone and myself wrote it in his studio in Warner Robins. Average Joes head, Shannon Houchins and former Rehab bassist, Hano Leathers, added their production to top it off. Noah Gordon at Average Joes sang some beautiful backgrounds and made me sound like a real singer, which I appreciated. The song pulls from one particular experience where me and a dozen or so of my closest friends went down for a weekend in the water. We used details from that and other lake and beach related daydreams, hahahha. It's aimed at the folks that know about it and they will surely know when they hear it. It's got to be one of the first Country Rap Reggae songs. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the songs, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
