(popmusiclife) Kelly Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed a baby girl to their new family on Thursday and the music star broke the big news to fans online.

"Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th!," posted Clarkson. "Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!"

In January, the singer revealed the couple were expecting a girl. "We just found out we're having a girl officially!," Kelly tweeted at the time. "I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!" more on this story
