Iggy Azalea Admits Social Media Can 'Just Ruin Your Day'
. Back on June 2, Azalea tweeted an abstract message to the masses, reminding an unidentified "them" that despite their funny, funny jokes about artists, most of "them" have done "NOTHING" with their lives. Azalea clarified which haters exactly she was talking to with that tweet over the weekend at an event hosted by AMP 103.3/Boston (a Radio.com station). In an interview, Azalea admitted that she often checks Twitter but manages it "sometimes quite poorly." It turns out that Azalea's tweet to the haters was specifically aimed at the younger end of the spectrum: the fan groups. From her comments, it seems the battling hashtag named fans of other artists are the ones getting under her skin. "I think it's funny how we can take on the character of the people we idolize," Azalea said. "Sometimes we forget that [their] achievements aren't actually your achievements. I find it really ironic when I see 12-year-olds tweeting me and being like, 'You suck! We have a No. 1!' I'm like, 'You don't have a No. 1. Your favorite artist does. But you're 12, writing this from your mom's computer.' You should remember that." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
