Nugent's first all-new studio effort in seven years sees him team up with his touring bandmates - bassist Greg Smith, drummer Mick Brown and longtime guitarist/vocalist Derek St. Holmes - for the project.

Nugent will kick off a US tour on July 3 in Wichita Falls, Texas. It will be the rocker's first trek since undergoing double knee replacement surgery in February.

"Though we can all agree that music is the ultimate communication, killer rock-n-roll is also the ultimate soul cleansing distraction from everyday life," says Nugent. "I predict the most fun tour of our lives. Politics be damned! Shutup & Jam!"
