Producer Don Was will be the musical director for "The Musical Mojo of Dr. John: A Celebration of Mac & His Music," which will be taking place in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre on May 5th.

In addition to Dr. John himself, the all-star concert will include performances from Gregg Allman, Mavis Staples, The Grateful Dead's Bill Kreutzmann, Rolling Stones touring member Chuck Leavell, Jimmie Vaughan, Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas and Cyril Neville.
