Julian Casablancas Teases New Album
. But not much is revealed in the two-minute neon colored clip, which channels the French film, Enter the Void. Instead it consists of an Emergency Broadcast System Test, a Pac-Man game and images of troops going off to war alongside some gritty surf rock, preserving the mystery that is Julian Casablancas. Last month, Casablancas dropped a new song called "Human Sadness." While the song isn't from his upcoming solo album, it was enough to hold fans over until more details emerge. According to NME, the song will be featured on the soundtrack for the film She's Lost Control, a crowdsourced film that takes a look at a woman in New York City who "teaches men how to be intimate and make love." The film will debut at this year's South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. While Casablancas puts the finishing touches on his forthcoming solo effort, he hits the road later this month for a small tour. Complete 2014 tour dates below, including a stop at Governors Ball, where he'll perform not only solo, but with his band. Watch the teaser video here.
