(hennemusic) Slash, MC5's Wayne Kramer and Robbie Krieger of The Doors were among the guitarists on hand to launch the new Jimi Hendrix US postage stamp with a free concert at SXSW on Thursday, and video from the event has surfaced online.

Slash and Kreiger teamed up for Jimi's blues classic, "Red House", which featured vocals by Mary Bridget Davies, star of the Broadway show, "A Night With Janis Joplin."

Among the performances were Paul McCartney guitarist Rusty Anderson on "Little Wing", King's X vocalist Doug Pinnick singing "Manic Depression", Vintage Trouble singer Ty Taylor fronting the band for "Fire", and the full lineup - joined by Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell - for the Bob Dylan-penned "All Along The Watchtower."
