Hugh Laurie Reveals North American Tour Plans

Hugh Laurie, best known for playing the title character in the hit television series House, has announced a North American theater tour that will be taking place this spring.

The tour is scheduled to kick off on May 20th in Vancouver, BC at the Orpheum Theatre and the trek will be concluding on June 11th in Guadalajara at Teatro Diana.

Laurie will be hitting the road in support of his most recent album release, Didn't It Rain, which was released by Warner Bros. Records in August of last year as the follow up to his 2011 debut album Let Them Talk.

He will be joined on the tour by The Copper Bottom Band featuring David Piltch (bass), Vincent Henry (horns), Elizabeth Lea (trombone), Jean McClain (vocals), and Gaby Moreno (vocals).

Laurie and the band will also be joined by drummer Herman Matthews (Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx, and Tower Of Power) and guitarist Mark Goldenberg (Jackson Browne, Chris Isaak, Waylon Jennings, Eels, Bonnie Raitt).
