Still '4 or 5' Unheard Johnny Cash Albums Left In Archive
. According to The Guardian, Cash's son, John Carter Cash, says that there are "four or five" unheard albums left in his dad's archive and enough material for another multi-CD box set of outtakes from Cash's American Recordings sessions with producer Rick Rubin. "There may be three or four albums worth of American Recordings stuff," he explained. "But some of it may never see the light of day." Rubin further confirmed John Carter Cash's plans. "We released the work we had been planning to release along with John [Carter Cash] and the idea of the Unearthed box set of outtakes was his idea," Rubin said. "We will probably put out additional Unearthed material recorded since the last Unearthed box, in keeping with John's wishes." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
