Against Me! Singer Focus of New Docu-Series

(Radio.com) According to AOL, home of the new docu-series, So Much More With Laura Jane Grace will follow the Against Me! singer across the country as she promotes the band's latest album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues.

The series takes an intimate look at Grace, who came out as a woman in 2012, as well as other members of the trans community "whose experiences are woefully underrepresented and misunderstood in the media," said the network on the video preview page.

"I just want to make a connection," Grace says in the series' trailer. "There are selfish reasons for that, of not wanting to feel like I'm alone in the world. But that's what I hope is that it gives other people too. Like, they feel that they're not alone in the world."

"There have definitely been people that have come out and said they were inspired by what I did, but I always try to drive it home the fact to them that making that connection is the support that I need too," she insisted about any newly acquired hero status in a recent interview with Radio.com. more on this story
