Deep Purple Launching North American Summer Tour

. Deep Purple fans in U.S. have waiting a little over a year to see the band perform in support of their latest studio album, "Now What?!" and the wait is almost over.

The legendary British hardrockers will be launching a summer tour in support of the album that will be visiting 17 cities across the United States and Canada this August.

The tour is set to kick off on August 5th in Ventura, Ca at the Ventura County Fair and will be concluding on August 31st at the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, FL.

This will be the band's first U.S. dates since June of 2011 and first Canadian dates since February of 2012, according to ABC.
