Singled Out: The Crazy Carls' Let Me

Today The Crazy Carls frontman Alex Bough tells us about their new single "Let Me", which follows the release of their latest full length album "Owl Tattoo". Here is the story:

"Let Me" is a song that tells a story in simple language. It talks about what's not said between two friends who know each other really well. They both care about each other, but there's a big part of their feelings that's left unsaid. So, the guy wants to be honest and tell the girl what she needs to know.

The song asks the girl to answer right now. There's intensity in the chorus which makes the listener want to find out how the girl feels. The music has an old school feel because both people are afraid to be too forward about their feelings. The vocals are raw and exposed but the melody keeps the mood of the song light.

The groove is easy to move to and gets the listener right into the story. It's a song that everybody can relate to because they'll have a personal story they'll remember when they're singing it.

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourselfhere and get the single right here!
