(Radio.com) This past Saturday (May 24), Jason Aldean performed in front of a sold-out crowd of more 41,000 race fans, a day ahead of the famed Indianapolis 500. The occasion was the first-ever Legends Day Concert. The show took place in the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. One of Aldean's current tour mates, Tyler Farr, opened the show.

"It's the first time I remember playing a race track," Aldean told Billboard about the show. "We might have played a little county race track but as far as a motor speedway like this, this is the first one. We've been crossing stuff off the bucket list, things we've never done before, and this is another one of those things so it's pretty neat."

Aldean also dropped news that a brand-new single is likely coming next month. "We've got a new album coming out the end of this year or maybe September and a new single coming, probably coming the end of June," Aldean said. "We're getting geared up for all that stuff right now." more on this story
