Slash, Peter Gabriel Appear In Arcade Fire's New Short Film
. The 21-minute film is directed by "Noreen Bauble," which is just a moniker that Arcade Fire uses, and features guest appearances from Peter Gabriel, The National, James Murphy, Andrew Garfield, and Slash. The plot of the film centers around Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler's 27th birthday and the "27 Club curse" that strikes musicians on that perilous year of their lives. Truly a scary concept for any musician in that year of their life. Even more scary: Jim Morrison's Ghost coming into play. Arcade Fire recently wrapped their Reflektor tour and now are plotting their next move. Nice to see they are remaining active in non-traditional ways between projects. Watch it here.
