Bruno Mars Goes James Brown for Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk'

(Radio.com) Bruno Mars gives the King of Soul himself, James Brown a run for his money on the new Mark Ronson track, "Uptown Fun." Name checking Michelle Pfeiffer, hood girls and good girls, Mars make it clear he's too hot for all the ladies. So hot in fact, he makes a dragon want to retire.

Don't believe him? Just watch. He'll see you in the stretch limo in Harlem, Hollywood or Jackson, Miss. With the track came news that Ronson's new album, Uptown Special, will be out on Jan. 27, 2015. It's the follow-up to his 2010 album, Record Collection.

The album features lyrics from Ronson's favorite author, Michael Chabon and special guests like Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, who appears on three songs, and 23-year old singer Keyone Starr, who Ronson found while touring gospel choirs in Jackson, MI and also appears on three tracks.

The two will hit the Saturday Night Live stage for an episode hosted by Annie star Cameron Diaz to perform the track on Nov. 22. Ronson, who's making his first appearance on SNL, will play an another track from the new album featuring a special guest who has yet to be named. Read more and listen to the track here.
