Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf In New Shady Records Cypher
. Almost as noteworthy as the flows is how beautifully everything is shot (the clip is directed by Syndrome), from Yelawolf pondering whether he really is "the white devil" in a field, to Joell Ortiz delivering his section from Brooklyn, overlooking the Manhattan skyline from across the water. But it's Shady and Royce da 5'9″ performing in a beautiful abandoned building in Detroit that takes the cake, with Eminem going on for what seems like an unreal amount of time in his portion. The entirety of the video ammounts to a clinic of who Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf and Eminem are, and their continued relevance in the hip-hop world. Namely, it shouldn't take this kind of thing to be talking about them (particularly when Yelawolf has a single, "Till It's Gone," getting play on alternative music stations). The new cypher precedes the release of Eminem's Shady XV, which will feature a number of tracks from Shady Records recording artists, out Nov. 24. Watch the video here.
