The Cranberries Singer Arrested For Alleged Assault On Plane

(Radio.com) The Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O'Riordan was arrested Monday (Nov. 10) after allegedly attacking a stewardess aboard an Aer Lingus flight, according to the BBC.

She's since been released by Irish police, but was taken to a hospital in Limerick and had complained of being ill at a local police station. According to police, they boarded the flight in Shannon, Ireland.

The hostess was injured with a possible foot fracture and was taken to a local hospital. A police officer was also injured in the fracas, though not seriously. O'Riordan was detained and questioned for alleged assault.
