Timbaland Unloads On Aaliyah Biopic

(Radio.com) Some people live tweet their hate when shows they don't enjoy are on and others go on Facebook rants. Sunday night (Nov. 16), Timbaland posted (and reposted) a slew of photos to Instagram to express his feelings about Lifetime's Aaliyah biopic, Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B, which premiered over the weekend.

In very few words, the producer made it clear he took umbrage with the casting of the film, the story and that it was done without his participation. He took sharp aim at talk show host Wendy Williams, who was an executive producer of the film.

He also posted a series of short videos of himself commenting on the film, starting with one with him denying he was watching it, although that didn't seem to stop him from weighing in with strong disapproval.

"People, thanks for the comments tonight on that bulls**t Aaliyah movie," Timbaland said in a video he posted addressing fans. "They have felt Timbo's wrath tonight, baby."
