Gregg Allman Biopic Death Suit Settlement Reached

(Radio.com) Earlier in the year, Sarah Jones was killed while working as a camera assistant on the film Midnight Rider, a biopic based on the life of Gregg Allman, after being struck by a train.

The incident saw a lawsuit filed by the parents of Jones, as well as a suit from Allman himself, asking for the film to be stopped altogether. While Allman dropped his suit months ago, Jones' parents did not, but have now reached a confidential settlement with many of the defendants.

According to Billboard, director Randall Miller, producer Jody Savin, executive producers Jay Sedrish and Don Mandrik, location manager Charles Baxter, Miller's production company Unclaimed Freight, first assistant director Hillary Schwartz, director of photography Mike Ozier, Epozier Films, Inc., and Rayonier Performance Fibers have all settled with the family.
