Preacher Threatens Kendrick Lamar, Jeezy with Lawsuit Over Sample

(Radio.com) Earlier this month Kendrick Lamar added a verse to Jeezy's triumphant "Holy Ghost." Now the song's been removed from Youtube and Spotify. Why? An impending lawsuit from a Dallas preacher.

The song begins with an exhortative sample of a speech by T.D. Jakes, a televangelist bishop: "I got some chatter, but I'm still on fire. I got some threats, but I'm still on fire."

Now he's got a lawyer, too. According to a post on Jakes' Facebook page, "The 'Holy Ghost' remix by Jeezy featuring Kendrick Lamar was produced without the knowledge or consent of T.D. Jakes."
