Cheap Trick and Beastie Boy Lead Additions to Joan Jett Tribute Concert

(Radio.com) This year's Little Kids Rock Benefit concert has just added a few more artists to an already packed bill. The event, which will pay tribute to Joan Jett, recently announced that Cheap Trick, Mike Ness of Social Distortion and Kathleen Hanna featuring Ad-Rock as additions to their list of performers (Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Alice Cooper, Darlene Love and Glen Hansard were already on the bill).

Besides Jett, Jake Clemons will also be honored at the event. Clemons, nephew of the late E Street Band saxophone player Clarence Clemons, is a singer/songwriter who is also now part of E Street's horn section.

Ad-Rock, aka Adam Horovitz, has not performed often in the years since his bandmate Adam Yauch's passing in 2012, ending the career of their group, Beastie Boys. Read more here.
