Previously Unreleased Tupac Poems Surface

(Radio.com) Noisey has unearthed previously unreleased poems written a 17-year-old Tupac Shakur. The poems were written over a three-year period of time and offer a look into the rapper's life before he became famous.

Leila Steinberg, Tupac's first manager, unearthed the prose and gave it to Noisey to share with the Internet. Photo scans of each poem accompanied the article.

The poems depict a fragile and introspective youth, with the harsh glare of the spotlight still in his future. One poem is called "Things That Make Hearts Break," check it out here.
