Norah Jones Closes Out George Harrison Week on Conan

(Radio.com) Norah Jones stopped by Conan Friday night (Sept. 25) to close out the final evening of Conan O'Brien's George Harrison tribute on Conan. The nine-time GRAMMY winner performed "Behind That Locked Door" from Harrison's 1970 triple album All Things Must Pass.

Jones put her own twist on the song as she took the stage with acoustic guitar. Alongside wavering electric guitar that paid homage to Harrison's original, "Behind That Locked Door" had a distinct country feel.

Jones follows previous performers this week honoring Harrison, which included Beck covering "Wah Wah," Paul Simon performing "Here Comes the Sun" as well as Harrison's son Dhani playing "Let It Down" and "Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll)" with Big Black Delta.

Conan's week-long Harrison tribute is just one of many going on this month in support of the Sept. 23 reissues of Harrison's first six solo albums. On Sept. 28, Los Angeles' Fonda Theatre will host George Fest, which will be full of tributes from artists across multiple genres.
