Lady Gaga Says 'The World View of Israel Is Just Not Reality'

(Radio.com) While there's a growing list of musicians who have refused to perform in Tel Aviv, Israel, Lady Gaga proudly isn't one of them. The pop star, who is currently in support of ArtPop abroad, recently took her ArtRave to Tel Aviv - and said the city "was magnificent" in an interview with The Independent.

She also pointed out that the media's portrayal of Israel hasn't been, in her opinion, fully accurate. "The worldview of Israel is just not reality," she said. "It's in a beautiful place, the people are in good spirits. I had a very emotional show with those fans. It was wonderful."

Gaga did have one surprise while she was playing in Israel: Tony Bennett joined her to perform their duet "Anything But Love" from their newly released Cheek to Cheek album. Read more here.
