DeJ Loaf and Kid Ink Release 'Be Real' Video

(Radio.com) DeJ Loaf and Kid Ink explore the twilight world of the undead and wealthy in their new collaborative video for "Be Real." The video opens with a chilling montage of burning candles, grainy show footage and shots of Kid Ink watching events unfold on a giant bank of video monitors.

Then we see brief clips of bloody models stalking around a mansion-uh, oh. Clearly something is afoot: while never explicitly made clear, we can assume that Ink and Loaf are meant to represent some kind of undead royalty living out their eternal life in a lavish mansion, a concept driven home by Ink's Victorian-esque blazer.

The DJ Mustard instrumental provides the perfect underpinning for Loaf and Ink's croons, and its pitched up vocal samples complement the spooky mood.

"Be Real" comes off Kid Ink's recent release Full Speed. In an interview with The Fader, he says that "Be Real" wasn't originally intended as a single, "but the response when the album dropped was overwhelming-the people made it a single."
