Lady Antebellum Star Hillary Scott's Bus Catches Fire

(Radio.com) En route to the ACM Awards, Lady Antebellum star Hillary Scott's bus caught fire Thursday (April 16) in Garland, Texas, and she was forced to evacuate. Scott was on the bus with her husband, tour manager and driver at the time and was quick to get onto social media to let everyone know she was OK.

"Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today," she wrote on Instagram with a photo of the burned bus. "Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND.

"It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!!"

According to CBS DFW, Garland Fire's Meril Balancier said the bus stopped after noticing smoke on Interstate 30 near Dalrock. When everyone evacuated, the bus burst into flames. No one was injured in the incident. Read more here.
