. In an interview with Rolling Stone, guitarist Kerry King explained writing the song during a particularly hellish day in the backseat of the tour van. "I just stated jotting down hateful thoughts," King said. "It's about a dude who wakes up at a crime scene and realizes he's killed everybody. It's really cool."
