Sarah Jessica Parker Lands First TV Role Since 'Sex and The City'

(Radio.com) Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to TV for the first time since Sex and the City ended nearly a decade ago. According to Deadline, SJP will star in the new HBO single-camera comedy called Divorce, which focuses on, yes, a divorce. A very, very long divorce.

Parker will reportedly star as Frances, a woman who decided to get a divorce after reassessing her life, but making a clean break is much harder than she thought.

Thomas Haden Church will plays Robert, Frances' husband, while Molly Shannon and Mad Men's Talia Balsam will star as Frances' friend. Flight Of The Conchords' Jemaine Clement also appeared in the pilot, but no word yet if he's a series regular. Read more here.
