AC/DC's Phil Rudd Pleads Guilty To Threatening to Kill, Drug Charges (A Top Story)
. New Zealand media outlet Stuff.co.nz reports that Rudd's attorney Craig Tuck said that he will seek a "discharge without conviction". Sentencing for the veteran drummer is scheduled for June 26th, according to the report. A second charge of threatening to kill has reportedly been dropped. The drummer was arrested following a police raid on his New Zealand home on November 6th of last year. He was originally charged with attempting to procure a murder, threatening to kill and possession of the drugs. Authorities quickly dropped the attempt to procure a murder charge. His arrest came as AC/DC prepared to launch a world tour in support of their "Rock Or Bust" album. They recruited former AC/DC drummer Chris Slade for the tour. -
