Questlove Remixes His Sister Donn T's Last Breath

. ('stache) Donn T has released a new remix of the track "Last Breath", from her new album, Flight Of The Donn T. This new remix was produced by her brother, the Grammy-winning instrumentalist/producer Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson. We were sent the following details, following by a link to stream the new remix.

Flight Of The Donn T was released (on her own label, D-Tone Victorious, distributed by MRI/RED/Sony) to critical acclaim this year. Two of Flight's singles, "Waiting"and "Midnight" have been featured heavily in visual media: the former track appeared in the BET film I Will Follow directed by award winning director Ava Duvernay (Selma), while the latter track was spotlighted in Lifetime's movie With This Ring (starring Jill Scott, Regina Hall and Eve).

After recently performing at the star-studded Talking Heads/David Byrne Tribute at Carnegie Hall in NYC, Donn T received glowing reviews from Rolling Stone, "avant-funkateer... easily the heaviest groove of the night" and Entertainment Weekly, "stunning vocals."

Donn T has several appearances planned in the coming weeks. She will be performing on Arise 360 Entertainment TV on Monday, August 3. Additionally, Donn T will be spinning a selection of hits at the D.C. Record Fair, taking place on Sunday, August 9. The event takes place at the Penn Social, located at 801 E.
