College Professor Plans To Be David Bowie For A Year
. To better understand the musician over his 4-decade career, he'll eat, sleep and dress like the pop icon in what's being dubbed "The Method;" a process of transformative immersion. The fruits of his labor will result in "Forever Stardust," a written account of the year-long experiment. In an interview with Australia's ABC Radio National, Brooker explained how deep he's willing to go and how he plans on getting there. "I thought well, I'm going to try to listen to the music that Bowie listened to and read the books he read at specific points and watch the film that influenced him-and then start to dress like him and start to do makeup like him and so on and follow his diet to a certain extent which isn't a very healthy diet."
