A small amount of cocaine was reportedly found in Scott Weiland's bedroom on his tour bus in a search by police and a bandmate of the former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver has been arrested.

Weiland died in his sleep while on the tour bus in Bloomington, Minnesota on Thursday, December 3rd. The singer was on tour with his current band The Wildabouts.

Police in Minnesota obtained a search warrant for the tour bus following Weiland's death and according to CBS Minnesota (via Loudwire), they found a small amount of a substance in Weiland's room that tested positive as cocaine.

According to the report, the police also found some of the substance in Wildabouts bassist Tommy Black’s room and he was arrested and is currently being held for possession of a controlled substance.

This is the second death in the band this year, in late March guitar player Jeremy Brown died just before the band released their debut album "Blaster". The Los Angeles Medical Examiner-Coroner's website lists Brown's cause of death as accidental from "multiple drug intoxication".
