Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell dedicated an acoustic version of the Andrew Wood tribute song "Say Hello To Heaven" to late Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland.

Cornell performed the dedication track to Weiland at a concert at the Palais theatre in Melbourne, Australia on December 4th, the night after Weiland was found dead on his tour bus, according to Spin and the fan captured YouTube audio of the performance.

"Say Hello To Heaven" was a song written as a tribute to late Mother Love Bone frontman Andrew Wood from the Temple Of The Dog supergroup album project. Listen to the Cornell performance here.
