(Radio.com) Martin Shkreli, CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, has been at the center of a few controversies. He first became known when his company raised the price on the important AIDS medication Daraprim from $13.50 to $750. Now, Shkreli is making headlines because he plans to bail imprisoned rapper Bobby Shmurda out of prison.

In an exclusive interview with HipHopDX, Martin Shkreli said, "I'm a fan and I'm a business man. "Look, the guy's going to have to record for me if he comes out. I'll just come out and say it I'm not going to do this for free."

While the CEO wants Shmurda to record for him if he posts his bail, Shkreli says he wants to get involved with hip-hop for the love. "To me, what I'm doing right now in the media, raising prices, all this s-, believe what you want, but it's interesting.

"It gets people talking. At the end of the day, that's what art is. I don't know if I can translate the sh*t into rap or not, but I'll try In 500 years, they're going to talk about rap the same way we talk about Shakespeare. I just want to throw my hat in the ring, that's all. I don't want to make money." Read more here.
