Pusha T Releases M.F.T.R. Video

(Radio.com) Pusha T goes to church in his new music video for "M.F.T.R." off his second studio album, King Push: Darkest Before Dawn - The Prelude. M.F.T.R. translates to "More Famous Than Rich."

Awash in sepia and shadows, the camera slowly tracks through an antiquated church before it finds Pusha T in the confessional. "Maybe this dream is trying to tell you something," an unseen priest tells the rapper. "Maybe," Pusha T admits, before the track lets loose.

The video is laden with religious iconography, but everything is cast in a darker light. "N-ggas ain't been to church in a minute/ But it's funny how that TEC make a n-gga get religious," Pusha T raps. The-Dream lends his vocals to the chorus.

Things take a turn straight out of The Exorcist when Pusha T climbs the walls while a priest tries to cast out his demons. Watch the clip here.
