Will Smith and Jimmy Fallon Team Up For 'It Takes Two' Performance
. (Radio.com) Jimmy Fallon living the (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) dream last week. After recreating the show's open on The Tonight Show earlier in the week, the host got to drop rhymes with Will Smith himself Thursday night. Employing the Loopy iPad app that he's used before (notably for a memorable performance of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" with Billy Joel last year), Fallon, with Smith's help, laid down a couple of human beat-box riffs before kicking into the Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock classic "It Takes Two," with the Fresh Prince appropriately tweaking the lyrics with the line "Me and the Roots come from the same home!" a shout-out to their mutual Philadelphia, um, roots. About a minute into the jam, the Roots joined in and Fallon and Smith left the desk and couch, with Fallon using his best high voice to sing the hook "It takes two to make things go right!" (A great effort, but maybe next time he should call Justin Timberlake when he needs a falsetto). Watch it here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
