Taylor Swift Gives Fan $1,989 Towards Her Student Loans
. (Radio.com) If you're a Taylor Swift fan, the best possible moment that could come--next to meeting her in person, of course--would be getting a package from the SwiftEx. For one fan, 25-year-old Rebekah, that dream became a reality. What exactly comes in a SwiftEx box? For Rebekah, it was a personal note from Taylor, a hand-painted picture by Taylor (along with a polaroid of her making it), a necklace that belonged to Taylor, and a check for $1,989 that came with a note that said, "Now you're $1989 closer to paying off those student loans." So Rebekah did what any fan in her position would do: she posted a video of her unwrapping the box, naturally. In it, you can check out all of its contents. "I was so nervous I couldn't even read the letter and totally butchered it," she wrote. "I was just in such shock that Taylor had taken her time to think about me and send me something. I still don't think I've really processed it all, I feel like I'm just in this crazy dream. I couldn't even form words when I opened everything, luckily my mom took a minute to thank Taylor for me. Taylor, thank you, thank you, thank you. I know I've said it and I'll probably say it a million more times because this means more to me than you could imagine, I love you!"
