Liam Gallagher Ordered to Pay For Missing Child Support Hearing
. (Radio.com) Liam Gallagher isn't getting off easy: the Oasis singer has been fined $5,000 after he missed a child support hearing in New York. The New York Post reports that Gallagher was due in a Manhattan court for a hearing on Monday with Liza Ghorbani, his 22-month-old daughter Gemma's mother. But the Post says he did not appear at the meeting after a doctor gave him a last-minute for "anxiety and depression." Judge Laura Drager was not impressed. "Mr Felder, where is your client?" she asked Gallagher's attorney, Raoul Felder. Then she reportedly shook her head in disbelief and stated that the doctor's note was "insufficient." To make matters worse, Ghorbani's attorney Ira Garr told the judge he had a photo of Gallagher and his new girlfriend walking in public in in London over the weekend. "I think it's offensive," he stated. 'My client came up from Virginia." Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
