Foo Fighters Announce Rescheduled UK Tour Dates

(hennemusic) The Foo Fighters have announced three makeup dates in the UK following cancelled appearances last month at Wembley Stadium and the Glastonbury Fetsival due to Dave Grohl's broken leg.

On June 12 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Grohl fell off stage early in the show, received treatement, and returned to finish the concert. But the incident led to the cancellation of the group's European tour, including the pair of UK dates.

Now, the Foo Fighters will return to play The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on September 5 and 6 with guest Iggy Pop, and Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium on September 8 with openers Royal Blood and Honeyblood.

The Foo Fighters recently launched a North American tour in support of "Sonic Highways" with a 20th anniversary show at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC on July that saw Grohl perform with his leg in a cast while sitting on a metal throne. Read more including the dates here.
