Miguel Attempts To Diffuse Frank Ocean Spat (A Top Story)
. The "Sure Thing" singer posted a long message to his Instagram account clarifying exactly what he meant--that being competitive is part and parcel of his craft. "Yes, I am competitive, we ALL have to have a level of competitiveness to put ourselves on the line day in and day out," he explained. "But I also believe there's room for all artists." He went on to describe the album he's currently promoting--Wildheart--as an example of this philosophy, saying it's all about "celebrating individuality." Oh, and he wants to point out that he and Frank Ocean are very different artists, and that's why the conversation is moot to begin with. "There's no need to compare apple to oranges, there's something out there for everyone," he wrote. "That's why I'm here and I'm able to do what I do. So, thank you to everyone who enjoys my music and all love to anyone who doesn't, we're all here to find our own wave and that's OK!" Read more including the post - here.
