Foals Announce New Album 'What Went Down'
. For their follow up to 2013's Holy Fire, out August 28, the UK art rock band hunkered down at a 19th century windmill in the South of France with producer James Ford, best known for helming the sounds of Arctic Monkeys, Florence + the Machine, Mumford & Sons and Jessie Ware. The band stayed in its rock pop lane for this release, while exploring weightier topics than usually found in the genre. "I wanted to tap into my inner madman and feel like I was channeling some sort of fevered creature," said vocalist and lyricist Yannis Philippakis in a statement. Read more here.
