Courtney Love Trying To Stop Kurt Cobain Conspiracy Theory Film

. (Radio.com) For most, the death of Kurt Cobain is not a mystery, as they accept virtually all reports that the Nirvana singer took his own life. Yet some still hold on to the idea that it is a conspiracy in which Cobain's wife, Courtney Love, played a part in the songwriter's death.

A new documentary, Soaked in Bleach, tries to dig deep into this conspiracy theory, and Love is not taking the film's existence too kindly.According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Love is behind a cease-and-desist letter that has been presented to all theaters showing the film, with a pretty cut-and-dry reasoning.

The letter claims the movie "falsely presents a widely and repeatedly debunked conspiracy theory that accuses Love of orchestrating the death of her husband Kurt Cobain," while noting that there just isn't evidence to support any of the claims. Read more here.
