Final Grateful Dead Concerts To Stream On YouTube

(Radio.com) For those that are unable to attend Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Year of Grateful Dead in Santa Clara on June 27-28 and Chicago on July 3-5, and for those who are not in on the pay-per-view broadcast that the band has scheduled, another option has emerged for experiencing the Grateful Dead in what is billed as the final performance from the surviving members.

YouTube will be also broadcasting the concerts, with accessibility coming to users of Android, iOS, Chromecast, Apple TV, Samsung and Panasonic Smart TVs, Xbox360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and WiiU, the band announced in a press release.

Prices for the webcast will run $19.95 per night for the Santa Clara shows and $29.95 a night for Chicago. Along with cable and satellite television, movie theaters and satellite radio, the options of experiencing this huge music even seem unprecedented. Read more here.
